Dolphins signed CB Jalen Ramsey to a three-year, $72.3 million contract extension.

Daniels will earn $24.1 million per year on his new deal and is now under contract through the 2028 season. If he plays out the length of this new deal, Ramsey would be 33 when his contract expires. After seeing several corners sign massive deals in the offseason, Ramsey once again becomes the league’s highest-paid corner. He played in 10 games last season, totaling three interceptions while earning a PFF coverage grade of 66.3. He’s recovering from a hamstring injury and hasn’t practiced in the days leading up to the Dolphins’ Week 1 matchup against the Jaguars. We’ll see if he finds his way on the field to close out the week.
