Mostert will be 32 at the start of next season and was set to earn just over $5.548 million in the final year of his deal. Now, the veteran running back who received his first Pro Bowl nod for his efforts (209-1,012-18) last season will be under contract for at least the next two years. Given his age and the Dolphins’ recent cap issues, it wouldn’t be surprising to learn that the team gave themselves an easy out if Mostert were to struggle in 2024. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports Mostert’s deal is worth up to $9.075 million.
