Eagles RT Lane Johnson told the Philadelphia Inquirer that “four or five” players on the team were dealing with illnesses.

Defensive tackle Jalen Carter missed Wednesday’s practice with an undisclosed illness, and rookie Quinyon Mitchell is reportedly dealing with laryngitis. In addition to Johnson, defensive coordinator Vic Fangio also mentioned multiple players dealing with illnesses, but none are expected to miss Sunday’s game as a result. These illnesses will likely prove to be little more than a footnote on Super Bowl weekend when all is said and done.
