ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler expects teams in need of wide receiver help to call the Browns on Amari Cooper ahead of this year’s trade deadline.

Fowler wouldn’t say that Cleveland is shopping the 30-year-old wide receiver, but listed Cooper as an attractive option for teams in need of help at the position. While Davante Adams’ trade demands are well known, Fowler believes Cooper could be a more practical trade candidate due to his low $1.2 million base salary this year. Cooper and the Browns reworked his contract last offseason and he’s set to become an unrestricted free agent after the year. It’s unclear what level of draft pick compensation Cooper might garner via trade.
