ESPN’s Todd Archer reports Jake Ferguson (knee) could play in Week 2 against the Saints.

It’s an about-face from an earlier ESPN report that said Ferguson would miss some time after leaving Week 1’s win over the Browns with an MCL injury. That he has a shot to suit up in Week 2 likely means Ferguson is a good bet to return in Week 3 or Week 4 at the latest. His practice participation will be worth monitoring in the next few days.
