George Kittle

George Kittle caught 5-of-6 targets for 58 yards and two touchdowns in the 49ers’ Week 6 win over the Seahawks.

Kittle also rolled his ankle in the second half but stayed in the game and was no worse for the wear. Kittle’s fourth and fifth touchdowns of the season were 10- and nine-yard strikes, respectively. For the first, he used some fancy footwork to ensure he got past the pylon. For the second, he split the defense at the goal line. Kittle has now caught at least four passes in all five of his appearances, also reaching 40 yards all five times out. That might sound like damning with faint praise, but it’s a higher floor than maybe some expected while Kittle’s ceiling has remained firmly intact. He’s going to be needed for a huge effort in Week 7 against the Chiefs.
