George Pickens

George Pickens caught 3-of-8 targets for 53 yards in a Week 6 win over the Raiders.

The Steelers were clearly trying to satisfy Pickens and keep the relationship positive, throwing deep shots to him late in the fourth quarter with a huge lead. One of those led to a nice 31-yard catch over defenders, but Pickens also dropped a potential touchdown catch a couple of plays later. The 23-year-old is talented, but his role in the Pittsburgh offense is not expansive given the run-heavy nature of the team and he has some lapses in concentration which make him hard to trust as a consistent fantasy option. The upside is there to be a low-end WR2 in fantasy but the consistency likely won’t be.
