George Pickens caught 4-of-7 targets for 85 yards in the Steelers’ Week 1 win over the Falcons, adding one carry for -10 yards.

With Justin Fields starting, Pickens was the only Steelers wideout to catch more than one pass against the Falcons. His first catch was for a loss of yardage and his sole rush also led to a loss of 10 yards, but Pickens was also the primary downfield target in Arthur Smith’s offense. His longest catch was 40 yards and he nearly had another one that was called back for offensive pass interference. Expect similar usage next week and pencil Pickens in as a WR3 against the Broncos for Week 2.
