Jalin Hyatt

Giants HC Brian Daboll told reporters Monday that Jalin Hyatt didn’t play much in Week 1 against the Vikings because “he’s the third/fourth wide receiver”

Dan Duggan noted that Hyatt left the stadium with his eye black still on, so clearly he was in a hurry to get out of there. Can’t really blame him, can you? Hyatt didn’t receive a target during Sunday’s blowout loss, and received a snap count of only 16 — or 23 percent of the offensive plays. There was some hope that Hyatt could be a breakout option in his second season, but that breakout isn’t going to happen soon.
