Gus Edwards

Gus Edwards

Gus Edwards rushed three times for nine yards in the Chargers’ Week 3 loss to the Steelers.

Edwards saw 11 rush attempts in Week 1, and 18 carries in Week 2. He didn’t come close to sniffing those totals in this week’s loss to the Steelers, which can be partially blamed on a negative game script. Regardless, Edwards should never be viewed as anything more than a touchdown-dependent back, as he lacks the receiving upside to have any kind of fantasy value in a split backfield. He can be left on fantasy benches in Week 4 when the Chargers take on the Chiefs.
