Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports that Raheem Mostert is not expected to go in injured reserve with his chest injury.

Rapaport reports that Mostert is expected back “sooner, rather than later.” The 32-year-old tailback was ruled out for Thursday night’s contest, but that appears to be just as much about the short turn around than the severity of the injury. It’s far from a guarantee, but it sounds like Mostert could be taking handoffs from Tua Tagovailoa in Week 3 against Seattle.
