Ja'Lynn Polk

Ja’Lynn Polk caught 3-of-7 targets for 30 yards in the Patriots’ Week 4 loss to the 49ers.

Polk’s development is evident but the Patriots’ passing game is in a bad way. He very nearly secured a fourth-quarter long ball from Jacoby Brissett but it was ultimately ruled incomplete. Replacing Brissett with rookie Drake Maye is not guaranteed to improve results but they have little to lose at this point. Polk is a priority stash entering Week 5 against the Dolphins.
