Hurts added a measly 25 yards on his eight rush attempts, three of which were kneel-downs that lost him four yards at the end of the game. Despite topping 311 yards and winning, this was far from Hurts’ best performance. He was sacked four times, one of which resulted in a lost fumble, and threw an interception to Saints safety Tyrann Mathieu in the back of the end zone. The Eagles didn’t score until the fourth quarter and looked far better when they leaned on Saquon Barkley. Hurts, to be fair, entered this game without A.J. Brown. The Eagles then lost two offensive linemen to injuries before DeVonta Smith suffered a game-ending concussion. Hurts’ Week 4 outlook hinges on getting one of his top two receivers back. If neither Brown nor Smith can play, the Eagles may take the air out of the ball entirely versus Tampa Bay.
