Active after missing Week 6, Cook was held without a target for the first time all season. His touchdown was an 11-yarder in the second quarter where he shed several arm tackles. Beyond that it was a quiet day as Josh Allen revved up the passing attack for his first 300-yard effort of 2024. Cook also got out-rushed by rookie Ray Davis, though the rookie was in a strict backup role. He scored during garbage time. Davis is going to remain involved, but Cook maintains an upside RB2 profile in an offense that’s hopefully on the upswing following Amari Cooper’s arrival. The Bills face Seattle’s shaky run defense in Week 8.
