James Cook rushed 20 times for 82 yards and a touchdown in Buffalo’s Week 5 loss to the Texans, adding two catches for 17 yards on three targets.

It looked like it would be a huge day for Cook after the first two drives, where he received six carries and had a 24-yard-catch before some short runs set the Bills up with first-and-goal. But Cook was turned away on first-and-goal for a minus-one yard loss and the Texans rushing defense woke up a bit afterwards. Still, he scored and maintained a huge portion of the Buffalo carries. Cook will remain a borderline RB1 heading into Buffalo’s Week 6 matchup against the Jets.
