Jared Goff completed 12-of-15 passes for 85 yards and three touchdowns in a 52-14, Week 8 win over the Titans.

The Lions scored seven touchdowns but only one of them came on a drive that was over 26 yards long. The defense and special teams continued to put the Lions in advantageous situations, so Goff didn’t need to drive the offense down the field much. However, the veteran made the throws that he needed to make. The bigger news here is that Goff was battling an ankle injury for much of the game, visibly limping on the field and requiring a heating pad in between drives. It likely won’t cost him any time, but fantasy managers should keep an eye on Goff’s practice participation ahead of a Week 9 game against the Packers.
