Jayden Daniels

Jayden Daniels

WSHQB • #5

Jayden Daniels completed 17-of-34 passes for 202 yards in the Commanders’ 28-27, Week 10 loss to the Steelers.

Daniels was under fire all afternoon and turned in one of his worst starts of the season. His fantasy day may have looked a little better if not for three one-yard touchdowns by Austin Ekeler and Jeremy McNichols, but Daniels won’t be exciting his managers with this performance. The runaway Rookie of the Year didn’t turn the ball over in this one, but he completed just 50 percent of his passes and was off-target on several throws against a stout Steelers defense. He was also held to just five rushing yards on three carries. Daniels and the Commanders are on a short week as they now prepare for a pivotal Thursday night matchup against the Eagles. He’ll remain a high-upside QB1 in the NFC East battle.
