Only one offense came to play in what many thought would be a high-scoring affair between the two teams. Daniels helped push the Commanders to a 3-1 record on Sunday against the Cardinals, stringing together one pass after another on his way to a 233-yard day through the air. It wasn’t the explosive passing game we saw in Week 3 against the Bengals, but that didn’t matter, as the Cardinals’ defense was on its heels all afternoon. Daniels punched in a nine-yard touchdown run after the Cardinals committed a 47-yard DPI on Noah Brown and later hit Terry McLaurin for a 10-yard touchdown pass in the fourth quarter. Daniels did throw his first career interception in this one, but he also set a new NFL record with an 82.1 completion percentage — the highest total for any quarterback to start a season. He’ll face a stout Browns defense at home in Week 5.
