The pick becomes a second-round selection if Reddick reaches a 67.5 percent playtime threshold and has 10 or more sacks this year. Per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the Jets are expected to give Reddick a new contract as well. Reddick previously received permission to find a trade partner a few weeks ago and it didn’t take long for the Jets to land the plane. Reddick, coincidently, will be joining a defense that just lost EDGE Bryce Huff to the Eagles in free agency. The Jets are going all in on the final years of Aaron Rodgers’ career by adding talent on both sides of the ball this offseason. Reddick totaled 11 sacks in 2023 and has reached or exceeded that mark in four consecutive seasons.
