Mike Williams

Mike Williams

NYJWR • #18

Jets HC Robert Saleh said Mike Williams is “a lot further ahead than anticipated” after being activated off the PUP list.

This is encouraging news for Williams, who opened camp on the PUP list while continuing to recover from a torn ACL he suffered in Week 3 of last season. The big-bodied receiver is expected to play a lot of snaps opposite Garrett Wilson and should give Aaron Rodgers a good option on the outside for contested catches and end zone targets. Prior to his injury, Williams had caught 19 passes for 249 yards and one touchdown in the three games he appeared in and appeared on track for the best season of his career. Once he’s fully up to speed, Williams should carry some high-end WR3 upside in PPR leagues. Since 2021, Williams has had 16 top-24 PPR weeks in 32 games played over that span.
