Joe Flacco completed 16-of-27 passes for 179 yards and one interception in the Colts’ 21-13, Week 9 loss to the Vikings.

Flacco was also credited with a lost fumble on an exchange with running back Jonathan Taylor in the first half and took three sacks on the team’s final possession. Head coach Shane Steichen went out on a limb and named Flacco the starting quarterback moving forward while benching second-year dual-threat quarterback Anthony Richardson, with this showing by the team sure to spark questions from the media after the Colts managed just 227 total yards and six points of offense, with seven of their 13 points coming on a fumble recovery touchdown in the first half. Things don’t get any easier for the 4-5 Colts as they prepare to host the Bills in Week 10.
