Joe Mixon rushed 14 times for 22 yards in Houston’s Week 12 loss to the Titans.

He added five catches for 23 yards on six targets, and was the only Texans running back to touch the ball in Week 12. The Texans were aware of their disadvantage in the middle of the line against the Titans and ran Mixon outside on 11 of his 14 carries, but there was nothing good waiting for them there. Texans fans were booing first-down runs in the fourth quarter, is a way to sum up how this went. Mixon’s role remains RB1-able and his matchup next week is the Jaguars, so he’s an RB1 despite the miserable line here.
