Josh Allen was named the 2024 Associated Press Most Valuable Player.

It’s one of the closer MVP votes you’ll see, as Allen narrowly defeated Lamar Jackson with 27 first-place votes and 383 possible points. Jackson received 23 first-place nods and 362 points. Saquon Barkley finished third. Allen threw for 3,731 yards with 28 passing touchdowns and also rushed for a dozen scores with 531 yards on the ground. Jackson was also spectacular, but the fact that he had already won the award twice likely played a factor in the decision.
