Josh Downs caught 4-of-10 targets for 109 yards and a touchdown in Indianapolis’ Week 8 loss to the Texans.

He nearly had a second touchdown, as a spectacular catch on the goal line was later ruled down at the one by booth review. His 69-yard score came as his man-coverage defender, Jalen Pitre, was picked off his feet, leaving Downs wide open downfield for a catch-and-score. It’s not going to be consistent with Anthony Richardson, and you surely know that at this point, but Downs has enough upside to remain on the WR3/FLEX line against the Vikings in Week 9.
