Justin Herbert completed 14-of-19 attempts for 164 yards and a touchdown in the Chargers’ Week 10 win against the Titans, adding nine rushes for 32 yards and a touchdown.

Herbert’s nine rushing attempts are by far a season high. He had a short touchdown scamper in the first half and connected with Quentin Johnston for a 24-yard touchdown later in the game. Coming into the game, the Chargers had been one of the NFL’s pass heaviest teams over the past month. That changed against the Titans, as Chargers OC Greg Roman went ultra run heavy in a game that was never really competitive. Herbert should have some upside next week against a Bengals team that can push the Chargers to lean on the pass for four quarters. It won’t hurt that the Bengals are allowing the league’s sixth highest drop back EPA.
