Justin Herbert

Justin Herbert

LACQB • #10

Justin Herbert completed 16-of-23 passes for 147 scoreless yards in the Chargers’ 17-13, Week 13 win over the Falcons.

Cooking with his legs of late, Herbert managed only five carries for one total yard. He also took five sacks against a Falcons pass rush that entered the proceedings as one of the league’s worst. That was the bad. The good was him heating his Ladd McConkey connection up for 9/117 and avoiding big mistakes as Kirk Cousins melted down for four interceptions on the other side, including a pick-six. Hebert’s fantasy returns have been poor the past two weeks after a mid-season hot streak, but he continues to look more comfortable with Jim Harbaugh’s offense and personnel. Herbert now has a stiff Week 14 road test in the Chiefs’ defense, albeit one that has been slumping in recent weeks.
