Justin Herbert completed 20-of-32 attempts for 279 yards and two touchdowns in the Chargers’ 26-8 Week 8 win against the Saints, adding four rushes for 49 yards.

It’s only the second time this season Herbert has thrown multiple touchdowns. Chargers pass catchers had their usual brutal drops in this one but Herbert continued to deliver precise throws in crucial situations. He threw a 60-yard catch-and-run score to Ladd McConkey in the third quarter before finding the rookie again in the back of the end zone in the fourth quarter to close out the game. Herbert notched a 50-yard run in the first half that ended with a big hit near the sideline. In a suddenly pass-first LA offense, Herbert has a sliver of fantasy upside going forward. He’ll be a top-20 fantasy play in Week 9 against the Browns.
