K.J. Osborn

K.J. Osborn played with the starters in Thursday’s preseason game against the Eagles but was not targeted.

Osborn ran ahead of buzzy rookie Ja’Lynn Polk for the second straight week. Although he was more noted for his slot work than boundary acumen in Minnesota, Osborn did see time at both spots, and the Pats have been using him on the outside. Osborn was always stubbornly productive as a secondary option for the Vikings, but it’s still a little surprising he has so far held off Polk. This remains a fantasy situation to monitor closely. Should he hold off Polk into the regular season, Osborn could provide last-gasp PPR appeal.
