Khalil Shakir (ankle) did not practice on Thursday.

Unless Shakir can get on the field Friday, there’s a good chance he’ll miss a second-straight game with the ankle injury he suffered in Week 4. The Bills’ No. 1 receiver leads the team in receptions (19) and yards (230), and his absence was noticeable in the team’s Week 5 loss to the Texans. Josh Allen completed a career-low 30 percent of his passes in the defeat, and could be in line for another difficult day against the Jets if Shakir is unable to go.
