Jackson could have given us an all-time stat line with the way he was playing, but Denver couldn’t keep their end of the bargain in this potential shootout. Jackson and some other starters even got a few minutes off at the end of the game. Barreling towards his third MVP, Jackson picked apart a Denver defense that has been among the league’s best at defending the pass this year. This was Jackson’s third game with multiple passing touchdowns and no interceptions. He also averaged more than 12 yards per attempt for the fourth time this year. Jackson will remain the QB1 overall for his rematch with the Bengals in Week 10. He threw for 348 yards and four scores in an overtime thriller the last time they squared off.
