Gradkowski has spent the last two years as the offensive coordinator for the UFL’s St. Louis Battlehawks. His jump to the pros will mark his first job as an NFL coach, as he’ll now be tasked with adding to an offensive staff that is re-staffing with former offensive coordinator Ben Johnson now in Chicago. Gradkowski is a former quarterback and an 11-year veteran of the league who was drafted by the Buccaneers in the sixth round of the 2006 NFL Draft. At just 42 years old, he now has the chance to carve out an NFL coaching career that will begin with what has quickly become one of the league’s premiere franchises.
