NYG • WR • #1
Nabers’ quiet day was almost a disaster after he left in the fourth quarter for a concussion evaluation. The rookie climbed the ladder for a long catch but had his feet taken out from under him midair. His head hit the ground and he stayed on the field in pain for a few moments before heading to the blue tent for a concussion check. He returned to action on the following drive. It would have been Nabers’ second concussion of the year. His previous brain injury sidelined him for two games. Nabers will get some extra rest with New York’s bye scheduled for Week 11. Even after another quiet fantasy outing, it will be hard to rank him outside the top 12 wide receivers. Nabers has at least 10 targets in 6-of-8 games this year. A phenomenal matchup with Tampa Bay’s horrid pass defense will give Nabers one final shot to make good on his WR1 potential.
