Malik Washington

Malik Washington (quad) will not play in Week 1 against the Jaguars.

Washington opened the week with back-to-back limited practices and appeared to be on track to suit up for Week 1. He was then downgraded to a DNP on Friday before being ruled out. It’s possible he aggravated the quad injury in practice late in the week. His absence puts Braxton Berrios in line to serve as the team’s No. 3 receiver. Berrios will only be a part-time player as the Dolphins don’t use as much 11-personnel as most teams. He is not on the fantasy radar for Week 1.
