Mason Rudolph
TEN • QB • #11
Mason Rudolph threw for a touchdown while completing 10-of-17 passes for 116 yards in a preseason win over the Seahawks on Saturday.
Typically, you don’t see quarterbacks rotate in, even in meaningless exhibition games. That was not the case Saturday, as Rudolph and Willis alternated playing time in the second half. The former Pittsburgh quarterback was tasked with the final drive, and he marched the Titans down to kick a game-winner with no time left. Rudolph doesn’t have the same kind of athleticism as Willis — it’s not really close — but he’s a better quarterback at this stage of his career, and looks likely to win the backup gig to Will Levis to open 2024.
