Christian Watson

Matt LaFleur told reporters that that he “talked to Christian Watson and he told me he thought it was just a sprain.”

Watson appeared to be in considerable pain before being carted from the field so this is technically a positive. Both the type of sprain and the severity have yet to be revealed though. The injury occurred when Watson’s foot got trapped under a defender’s body, as the latter player delivered a hit that buckled Watson’s knee inward. It appeared to be a classic eversion event.
