Mason Rudolph

PITQB • #11

NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reports the Steelers are comfortable starting QB Mason Rudolph in 2025.

If the Steelers can’t land Aaron Rodgers in the coming weeks, Pelissero claims the team would be open to rolling with Rudolph in 2025. Pelissero said several key members of the Pittsburgh offense — including the mercurial George Pickens — are supportive of Rudolph, who on March 13 signed a two-year contract worth $8 million with the Steelers. Rudolph started 13 games for the Steelers in 2023, going 8-4-1 and targeting Pickens heavily throughout. He has passed for 4,615 yards with 28 touchdowns and 20 interceptions in 29 career games with the Steelers. Last season with the Titans, Rudolph was 13th out of 40 qualifying QBs in drop back success rate.
