Panthers coach Dave Canales said the team is not really considering trading Bryce Young.

Canales told reporters he still believes Young can be a franchise quarterback. This all comes two days after Canales and the Panthers made the decision to bench Young for Andy Dalton. At this point, a change in scenery may be in the best interest of both parties. Young was reportedly blindsided by the decision to bench him while Canales had no choice given his poor play. The former No. 1 overall pick could take over later in the year if Dalton struggles, but it appears as though his days as the future of the Panthers are done.
