Panthers coach Dave Canales told reporters Adam Thielen’s hamstring injury will not require surgery.

Thielen suffered a serious hamstring injury in Week 3 and was placed on injured reserve. Canales said he will miss “at least” four weeks. That’s the minimum for a player on injured reserve, though it sounds like the veteran receiver could be out longer than a month. Jonathan Mingo and Xavier Legette will both see upticks in snaps with Thielen out of the picture. Legette, the first-round rookie, has some appeal in deeper redraft leagues.
