Pat Freiermuth

Pat Freiermuth caught 6-of-7 targets for 68 yards and a touchdown in a Week 13 win over the Bengals.

Freiermuth had a season-high 59 yards in last week’s loss to the Browns, and then he comes out and tops that this week. Perhaps the 26-year-old is starting to hit his stride with Russell Wilson under center, but it’s also worth noting that the Steelers used lots of screen passes and misdirection to attack the Bengals’ linebackers over the middle of the field and in the flats, so perhaps this was more of a gameplan success for Freiermuth. He will face a stiffer test against the Browns next week.
