Patrick Mahomes

Patrick Mahomes completed 27-of-38 passes for 262 yards, two touchdowns and one interception and rushed six times for 17 yards in the Chiefs’ 27-20, Week 8 win over the Raiders.

Mahomes became the fastest player to reach 30,000 passing yards, doing so in 103 career games. His interception was his lone box score blemish but it occurred when he was backed up in his own end zone and the ball was tipped by a defensive lineman. Mahomes notably came up limping just before half time, after a defender tackled him from behind, pinning his left ankle in the process. He missed no time and scrambled effectively so he should be good to go for Week 9. It is something to note though. Mahomes is a QB1 against the Buccaneers next week.
