Quentin Johnston

Quentin Johnston caught 5-of-7 targets for 48 yards and a touchdown in the Chargers’ Week 14 loss to the Chiefs.

Johnston now has seven touchdowns on just 28 receptions this season, clearly operating as a primary option for the Chargers in the red zone. He made a couple nice grabs in this one as well, notably hanging onto a catch on third down in the second half while being walloped by two Kansas City defenders over the middle of the field. Johnston remains unlikely to see consistent volume considering his seven targets came with rookie wide receiver Ladd McConkey out and tight end Will Dissly departing before the half. Up next for Johnston and the Chargers are the Buccaneers in Week 15 at home.
