Raiders coach Antonio Pierce said he put in Aidan O’Connell during Week 3 to see if it gave the offense “a spark” and would not rule out a quarterback change for the Raiders in Week 4.

It only took three games for Gardner Minshew to play his way back into the doghouse. O’Connell completed 9-of-12 passes in mop-up duty for 82 yards and a score. Nothing in AOC’s track record suggests that he’ll be any better than Minshew, but it was always likely that both quarterbacks would draw starts this year. Vegas hosts the Browns in Week 4
