Guyton joins a relatively crowded receiver room. Davante Adams and Jakobi Meyers are locked for their typical roles and second-year receiver Tre Tucker is also expected to take another step forward. Couple all of this with the fact they recently signed Michael Gallup, and it’s hard to imagine Guyton earning anything more than a backup role. He spent the majority of his time as a backup while with the Chargers, often keeping opposing secondaries on their toes while sprinting repeatedly downfield. Guyton has played in 46 games over his five-year career and has a receiving line of 71-1112-7. He’s been targeted on just 10.3 percent of his routes run, which is about what we’d expect for a one-trick pony.
