Cooper Kupp

Cooper Kupp

Rams HC Sean McVay said Cooper Kupp (ankle) won’t play in Week 5 against the Packers.

It appears increasingly likely that Week 7 is the targeted return date for Kupp. The Rams didn’t place Kupp on injured reserve, but he has spent a full four weeks away from football after missing Week 5 and with the team’s bye on tap for Week 6. Of course, this is all speculation, but if the Rams weren’t confident in Kupp returning in less than four games, they would have placed him on injured reserve. There’s clearly some hope he’ll be back after the bye. For now, it will be the likes of Jordan Whittington, Tutu Atwell, and Demarcus Robinson leading the Rams’ passing game against the Packers.
