Rashee Rice surrendered to police and posted a $40,000 bond.

Rice faces up to eight felony charges related to a collision in a street race. Rice was seen leaving the scene of the crash, though he has not yet been charged with leaving the site of the collision. Both cars racing in Dallas belonged to Rice, 25, entering his second NFL season with the Chiefs in 2024. Rice could face discipline from the Chiefs and the NFL in the coming months, and could conceivably miss some regular season action.
