Rashid Shaheed caught 8-of-11 targets for 83 yards in the Saints’ Week 4 loss to the Falcons.

Even with Chris Olave playing through his hamstring injury and tallying eight receptions of his own, Shaheed managed to post a new career high with his eight grabs. We’ll just ignore his muffed punt that resulted in a Falcons touchdown and essentially cost the Saints the game. Two of Shaheed’s missed connections were unconverted end zone targets. Today’s usage was intriguing, but Shaheed should still remain a clear-out, streak-play specialist most weeks. He’s a high-upside WR4 heading into Week 5 against the Chiefs.
