Rhamondre Stevenson rushed seven times for 18 yards in the Patriots’ Week 7 loss to the Jaguars, adding two receptions for 14 yards.

The Patriots took an early lead but gave it right back and then some. They went from a 110-point lead early in the second quarter to a 12-point deficit by halftime. The sudden flip in game script prevented New England from establishing their ground game. Stevenson carried the ball one time in the second half. The Pats’ offense is making improvements under Drake Maye, but it remains one of the league’s worst units as a whole. Stevenson will struggle to rack up touches if the Patriots continue to play from behind. That is likely to be the case when the square off with the Jets next week. Stevenson will hang out near the back of the RB2 ranks for Week 8.
