Rico Dowdle rushed 11 times for 46 yards in the Cowboys’ Week 4 win over the Giants, adding a 15-yard touchdown reception.

Dowdle again led the Cowboys’ backfield, this time out-touching Ezekiel Elliott 12-6. Dowdle’s receiving score came on a first quarter screen that required some nifty after-the-catch work to find the end zone. The 12 touches were a new season high, though both Dowdle and Zeke continued to lose third-down snaps to someone named Hunter Luepke. Dowdle will remain a low-ceiling FLEX option for Week 5 against the Steelers.
