Roschon Johnson

Roschon Johnson

CHIRB • #23

Roschon Johnson rushed eight times for 30 yards in the Bears’ Week 3 loss to the Colts, adding four receptions for 32 yards.

With Travis Homer (finger) inactive, Johnson went from being unable to get on the field to ... playing seemingly every third down and rotating carries with an ineffective D’Andre Swift? It’s unclear why one lightly-used third-down back injury changed everything in the Bears’ backfield, but we digress. Johnson out-rushed Swift 30-20 despite being out-carried 13-8. He frankly looked better than Swift, who is looking like a free agent mega bust as he averages 1.83 yards per carry. Johnson is worth speculative end-of-bench adds, but he won’t be a viable Week 4 FLEX vs. the Rams.
