L'Jarius Sneed

Sports Illustrated’s Matt Verderame reports the Colts and Titans are “two of the top teams trying to execute a trade” for Chiefs CB L’Jarius Sneed.

According to Verderame, one of the biggest holdups in a trade for Sneed has been his asking price, as teams looking to acquire him believe his contract demands are too high. Sneed is currently under the franchise tag and is due $19.8 million by the Chiefs next season if he plays under the tag. With the Chiefs granting Sneed permission to seek a trade, the veteran corner has found two potential suitors in the Colts and Titans, but it sounds like there’s still a lot to be done in contract negotiations before a trade can be struck.
